Painting with pleasure Winter 2023

Workshop of 10 sessions of 3h00 each to learn how to better master oil painting (without any use of solvent) and acrylic. Each participant chooses a starting project, whether beginner, intermediate or advanced. Basic techniques and notions will be integrated throughout the 10 sessions: preparation of the canvas, handling of brushes and spatulas, colors, volumes, perspectives, composition, etc. Participants will receive advice and suggestions at each session according to their needs.

Instructor: René-Lyne Charlebois Emery
Master's degree in education (Laval University). 15 years as a high school plastic arts teacher, 3 years as a private oil painting teacher, co-owner of an art supply store (Lachute, QC), full-time artist for 8 years .
